The woman behind the brand is Pauline Birch, who started the production of Mama Vodka together with her brother Peter Birck. The brand name comes from their strong ties to their mother.

Mama Vodka has grown organically since its establishment, and today the company’s spirits are served at hip bars, restaurants and sold in department stores throughout Europe.

Mama Vodka has a little brother – Machaby Gin, which draws inspiration from Italy. Machaby Gin is distilled in Aosta Vally in Italy. The ingredients are carefully selected so that it has ended up tasting notes of juniper, coriander and marjoram.
